Sebago

sebago.jpgFounded in 1946 and started by three friends, the first shoe made for Sebago was the penny loafer, inspired by the shape and style of the Indian moccasin. This was a big success, and set up the foundation for the company's shoe design direction. Throughout the 1950's and '60s, Sebago expanded their collections and began to export internationally. In the 1970's, they released their now most recognisable shoe, the 'Dockside' boat shoe.
