grinders.jpgStarted in the UK during 1965, Grinders is a well-known street fashion footwear brand that manufactures different kinds of leather footwear for both men and women. They are also known for their line of ranger boots that feature patented air cushion soles, which is crafted by heat sealing the sole to the welt of the shoe. 

During the ‘60s, after Grinders incorporated a steel toe line into their boots, their range of footwear quickly became popular among skinheads, punks, goth, heavy metal, suede heads, rockers and rivet head youth subcultures. Ever since then, their ranger boots, which are strong and sturdy derby boots, are similar in design to boots worn by US paratroopers that still appeals to many bikers, goths, and members of hell’s angels.
