Gloverall

gloverall.jpgAfter World War II, Harold and Freda Morris were offered large quantities of military surplus duffel coats. When they noticed it selling out very quickly, they decided to create their own collection of duffel coats under the company Gloverall.

From duffel coats they branched out, and during the swinging ‘60s Gloverall’s popularity soared as they began selling fashion-forward outerwear. Around the beginning of the ‘70s, the company became UK’s largest exporter of outerwear and was placed on the Silver Jubilee Honors list, and this reputation continued into the next decade.
