Fulton began in 1956, when founder Arnold Fulton began designing and manufacturing umbrellas from a small factory in Whitechapel, East London. With his mechanical engineering background, Arnold created machinery to more efficiently produce umbrellas, streamlining the process in a revolutionary way within the umbrella world.
