Albert Thurston is a traditional British gentleman's brand, with an eye for classic design and products of the utmost quality. It was founded in 1820, made and sold from Albert Thurston's emporium in Haymarket, London. 

They received an honourable mention for the standard of their products in 1851, at the Great Exhibition being held in Hyde Park. In the centuries that followed, the brand grew a reputation for excellence, being worn by businessmen, royalty, and politicians.

Despite the decreasing popularity of suspenders in the 20th century, Albert Thurston maintained good business and kept up its impressive clientele. Sir Ralph Richardson, a famous actor and contemporary to Laurence Olivier, is known to have purchased 6 pairs of Albert Thurston braces from his tailor on Savile Row in 1939, in fear of impending fabric rations due to the outbreak of World War II.

The brand is still incredibly popular and renowned today, especially with hipster and retro styles being so popular in menswear. Albert Thurston braces have been worn on iconic film franchises and TV shows, such as James Bond, The Darkest Hour, Knives Out, American Psycho, Wall Street, The Great Gatsby, and many more.
